panic mode

my friend lina is getting married this month!! in maui! and i'm in panic mode. i'm trying to exercise and eat healthier in a last ditch effort to get a rockin' beach bod. alas, it's not going so well. and worst of all...i have to write a speech. and even worse than that...i have to give that speech. in front of people. 

anyhoo, look at the ring pillow i made for this wedding (bridal shower gift, muahah)! i made this a while back, but always forgot to post.

Nouvelle Vague

so my friend niki got me hooked on Chanel nail polish. like i never thought i would own any because let's face it, their stuff is not cheap. yet here i am collecting them like it's nobody's business. i don't know what it is about them, but there's something about Chanel nail polish that makes me all googly eyed. maybe it's just the brand that makes me go bonkers or the fact that i just love the way it looks on. but i gots to have it. and since i probably won't be buying Chanel leather goods or jewelry for awhile, i'm quite content in getting my Chanel fix via nail polish.

anyways, niki and another friend - stephanie came to visit last weekend and per chance we stopped by a Chanel store. picked up their new summer nail polish Nouvelle Vague and niki got Black Velvet after trying mine. totally loves it! saw beyonce's new video and saw that she was sportin it too. so posted a freeze frame of the vid. may is starting out right.
