Had to make an emergency trip back to the IL.  I found it kind of exciting to celebrate my first white Christmas.  However, the weather was bitterly cold and I had to bundle up.  Thanks to Jina who made me this lovely beanie, I can keep warm and listen to my ipod.  She actually attached headphones to the knit headphones. Genius.

here i am pictured with two of my fave very stylish twins, Justine to the left and Julienne to my right. it's the only shot i have from our annual christmas party where you can see some detail on my dress. it was a great find at f21! who would have thought that they had cute lace stuff? well, they do. you should grab some before they have no more. i seriously heart lace. i was so excited to find out that it is now in style and that there is plenty of options out there to choose from. especially at a good price.

anywho, our christmas party was tons of fun. lots of food and conversating. we had two white elephants. one was a creative $10 gift and the other a re-gift. i ended up with a dvd from each round. the ever so christmas-y "elf" and "the hangover." i was happy.

my second day home in so cal, i celebrated my birthday with my west coast peeps. first had this oh so delicious brazilian dinner with jina and our 2 friends. here's a really dark picture from my phone. i got the steak. oh man i was so full after this dinner. it soaked up all the alcohol i drank later. so i was an expensive date that night.

we ended up all going to the echo in echo park after. it was a cool joint. they played funk music all night. many a dancer were there, so the dancefloor was packed. it was a pretty warm la night. i lucked out on not having to dress warmer. it was so nice compared to the teen degree weather i had been accustomed to as of late. anyways, good times with all the homies was had.

i had a work event last week, so i was a little bit dressier than i usually am going into work. if you think of this as dressy. i love the turquoise color. i haven't worn this dress in forever, but it still looks good.

after my work event i stumbled upon the "it's complicated" premiere. meryl streep came out into the crowd and shook hands with fans (including me)! got a pic of her. she's really pretty in person and seemed really nice to everyone.

i know i'm a bit late on this post but....HAPPY THANKSGIVING! this was the first year in something like 15 years my (extended) family hasn't met up for the holiday. and we do it up big...2 turkeys, a ham, all the fixins...sigh. the most traditionally american thanksgiving dinner from the most traditional korean family. haha. alas, maybe next year.

anyhoo, my parents, brother, and i ended up going out to dinner (prime rib!!) and made the most of it. a good time was had by all.

please excuse my lame picture. it's hard to look cool when taking a picture with your phone in front of your closet. also, half my face is missing.

so as of late i've been into rings again. i used to wear them a lot in my latter years in elementary and junior high. you can probably tell which rings i've had forever in the lot i took a pic of. haha

my friend niki got me into storing jewelry in small zip locs. they make life so much more easier. i can find shit faster and nothing gets tangled. is perfecto. highly recommend bagging your jewelry. so wrap it up.

happy thanksgiving

gen & i celebrated thanksgiving together this year in my apt. and we did it up big...in our pjs! lol both of us were more into having steak for our feast than turkey, so that's what we did with all the fixins. so delish!! we had rib eyes, garlic mac & cheese, grilled asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes and cake man raven red velvet cake. all washed down with wine and some of my purple drank. it was an awesome thanksgiving. we just cooked and watched movies all day in comfort.

the three of us met up with a bunch of our friends in las vegas during the weekend of the pacquiao - cotto fight. not so many shots of all the wardrobe changes. we'll get better at it though. first night we went to eat at lavo restaurant in the palazzo hotel. we went to the club upstairs after dinner, but called it an early night because it was way too crowded. the second night we went to tao, which was tons of fun for many reasons. -eden

it has been so long since all of us have been together like that! since college maybe?? plus that was the weekend before genevieve's and my birthday (that seems grammatically incorrect somehow...). yes, we have the same birthday--craziness, huh? and eden's is almost exactly one month after. it's coming up, eden!! :D

anyhoo, i think eden pretty much covered the goings-on in vegas. it was a fantastic weekend of food and fun! lavo, bellagio buffet, le cafe and crepes @ paris just to name some of the deliciousness. and of course tao...haha. apparently I had too much fun and my entry was revoked :/ that's all I'm going to say about that! -jina

first post!!!

so this is a shared blog between three bestes friends that all live in different cities. we all met our second year of college through some girl whose name i can't seem to remember. ;P who knew that the three of us would become tight and that one girl would be left on the wayside. oh well, what is meant to be is meant to be.

anyways, we decided to start this blog mostly for our own enjoyment. since we all moved to different cities after college we only get to see each other a number of times throughout the year, but we continue to be a part of each others' everyday lives. and this includes fashion. we constantly ask each other what the other one's wearing for wherever that one is heading out to. since we enjoy sharing so much on what we wear, why not share visuals of what we enjoy wearing?! so here we are at the THREE TIMES ENCHANTED blog. you're probably thinking, "girrrlll...what the heezy does the title of your blog entail??" well i'm not gonna break it down for you. because yo it's pretty self-explanatory.

i guess we each should talk a little about ourselves, so you can differentiate us from one another. okay, so...i'm eden, a sagitarius. i live out in new york. you'll probably be able to spot my posts because i throw random shit out there. that's just how i write. deal with it son. i heart, heart, HEART purses. it's my major weakness. i'm trying to not give in so much when i spot beautiful pieces of art. i really do try. i SUPER HEART CHANEL!! oh...how i love thee, let me count the ways... no, wait. i can't. ummm. jebus i started talking about chanel and now i totally lost my train of thought. damn. okay, i'm back. let's see. i enjoy what i do. love a nice pair of heels, but i've been addicted to flats since my mode of transportation the last couple of years have been my two feet. :) i'm usually the historian amongst the 3 of us. always have my camera on me to document happenings. i love traveling. so wish i could do more of it. love anything adam and eve related. (connect the dots) what else? what else? ehh...i think i've shared more than enough about myself. so let's stop with that.

i'm jina. hi. umm, what to say? i live in los angeles so i'm the west-coast branch of this operation. actually, we're all originally from california and met in college. good times.

as for fashion obsessions, i don't really have any in general...depends on what i'm feeling at the moment. but i do like a nice pair of heels. i'm also very much into diy fashion. tweeking things to make them your own.

although this is technically a fashion/personal style blog you'll notice we talk about food--A LOT. what can i say, we're girls with appetites who enjoy eating. so i hope you like a side of food with your fashion.

unfortunately i'm the polar opposite to eden when it comes to taking pictures and such. :/ basically i make her take pictures for me (thanks historian!). so you'll be seeing a lot of self-taken camera phone action from me. i'll apologize now for the poor picture quality you'll be getting.
